I  believe wisdom is something god blessed some people with, many people will live a long life without reaching this stage.Wisdom is a product of the mind  while  passion is a product of the heart,i don't see how the two will be associated together, wisdom will usually control the decision making while passion is the engine of fire inside a human being that drives miracles and inventions while wisdom might consider a subject of passion illogical and improper since most subjects associated with passion are sometimes illogical.Inventions have been classified as illogical at there first stages and then with time have been accepted as new ideas while logic described them at an early stages as illogical and improper and are based on dreams and  fiction.

I believe passion and wisdom are on the opposite classification of each other.

They will not mix in my humble opinion.

Just consider any invention or even love which is driven by passion  within the heart and see how wisdom or wise people will classify them "illogical and improper".

I agree with your statement, without wisdom passion mislead the success of result. If you want to change a bad system in your society, you have to need proper knowledge on this issue. Otherwise it would not bring any result at policy level or community level.

I agree with all the answers given by colleagues.

Wisdom is important because wise decisions often prevent heartache. They can prevent difficult situations from developing or getting worse.

Its like you want to reach your goals.. You have a vision but you dont have the spark and decision how to do it..just because of your surroundings you r force to take decision.. Which you may not like and jeopardize the Passion which you had in mind

It has often been said that people who "let their hearts rule their heads" will come unstuck. I do think however that the world would be a dull place without passion and emotion, to a degree at least!!

Well, in my opinion I believe once you have the passions its automatically the urge of feeling that you wanted to know more about on what your heart is telling for, this is the wisdom, the act of how you will do or decide to follow your passion. It is basically more on deciding what you felt and do it on your own way. when you have the passion it drives you to explore more, believe, observe and absorb.

I hear it all the time from people. “I’m passionate about it.” “I’m not going to quit, It’s my passion”. Or I hear it as advice to students and others “Follow your passion”.

What a bunch of BS. “Follow Your Passion” is easily the worst advice you could ever give or get.

Why ? Because everyone is passionate about something. Usually more than1 thing. We are born with it. There are always going to be things we love to do. That we dream about doing. That we really really want to do with our lives. Those passions aren’t worth a nickel.

Think about all the things you have been passionate about in your life. Think about all those passions that you considered making a career out of or building a company around.
