How commonly used is m-commerce in the Middle East?

mCommerce is still a new concept in the Middle East till now, I don't know any real production trials, in Egypt we have launched the service recently.
I can tell that there is a good customer attention and the progress should considered good taken in consideration the political situation in Egypt.
Still too early but I think there is a great potential for such mobile payment services on the middle east but it just need more time and cal approach to ensure the customer security and satisfaction.
