In calculating the area in AutoCad is very easy. You can measure the area in AutoCad first, go to Option and set the default scale1:1 just to make sure after finished setting, go to Measure or just type MEA then enter so that you can access the measurement and after that follow the instruction. AutaCad will give you different measurement ether Radius or Angle, Area, etc.
write word area and then select points in which you want to measure area
use the area command select the requested points then press space or enter , and you can read the area needed in the command bar.
Go to AREA Command by typing "AREA" use points to select area and enter.
Using Area (A) command or Double A (AA) and follow the instructions.
Area command when you are done with selecting your points press2 spaces and you can read the answer down in the right corner ( status )
1.Type Area in Command Prompt Area or Type “AA” for command or you can select area tool bar from Inquiry Toolbar
2. select the shape which you need the area. You will find the area and parameters of shape.
3. if you want to add or deduct / subtract the area you need to “A” for adding and “S” for subtracting or Deducting the area.
4. In Latest version of Auto CAD you just click the shape and go to properties by pressing Ctrl+1 you can see the are also in Properties area

FIRST YOU HAVE BE SURE THE OBJECT WITCH AREA WANT SHOULD BE CLOSE WHEN YOU MAKE HATCH IN PROPRIETIES (CTRL+1) OR IF CLICK ON OBJECT ALSO IN PROPRIETIES YOU WILL FIND AREA UNDER GEOMETRY
