Yes there is. A business plan can be developed using two approaches:

a. Top - down Approach: where you fix your revenue and growth targets and work out the corresponding costs involved to arrive at the bottom line

b. Bottom-up Approach: where given your organizations existing assets and capabilities, you work out the likely revenue, costs and future growth rate for a business segment over  a defined period

While presenting a business plan however, the target audience needs to be kept in mind.

Here the top down approach is found to be easier for audience to understand. i.e. you explain your revenue targets and then go on to show why you think these figures can be achieved.

Yes there is difference. In Developing we are making plans that how to run the business. Which type of business we have to present the people to attract them. What are the necessary step to take to build the business strongly.

How to present the Business Plan?

Present your Business in such manners that this is only for the customers. Present your business that people think that they are legit and have helping the people or full filling the need and demands of the people.
