Yes. Even if you am very good at your business knowledge, you should prepare for your sales meeting to keep yourself updated with new market trends. Always new learning gives boost to your business knowledge and sales of the company.

Before the meeting, it is necessary to collect all the related data, for comparison, verification, discussion to be objective/result  oriented and for a serious presentation. One has to connect the daily observations to the relevant data to once again convince for self, so that may result in more fruitful discussion with real involvement and overall respectful participation.
