If it's the same thing, I know it as "Outward bound" training. Effectively it is "Adventure" training incorporating outdoor activities such as rock climbing, canoing, orienteering etc etc. Many of the activities are similar to those found within "Youth" groups like the Boy Scouts. In recent years many Corporate businesses have employed Outward bound training as a means of team building/bonding and in some cases as an assessment process when looking for potential "Management material"!!
