Niche market would relate to a specific market and if you are able to customize or tailor  a successful strategy as per that specific and small market.

Market leader strategy is the one designed  successfully  by a leader in its segment and followed by other companies in that segment.

Niche marketing refers to competing within a narrowly defined market segment with a specialized offering. In essence, the firm virtually becomes a ‘big fish in a small pond’.

Market leader are dominant firms in an industry with the largest market share. Many times, only one firm is acknowledged as the market leader.

A Marketing approach for a product or service with features that appeal to a particular small market is Niche Marketing strategy. But Market leader strategy is a market strategy adopted by a Market leader who commands the respect in the market. Hope my answer is correct.

niche marketing Concentrating all marketing efforts on a small but specific and well defined segment of the population. Niches do not 'exist' but are 'created' by identifying needs, wants, and requirements that are being addressed poorly or not at all by other firms, and developing and delivering goods or services to satisfy them. As a strategy, niche marketing is aimed at being a big fish in a small pond instead of being a small fish in a big pond. Also called micromarketing.
