GWT
* GWT is in many ways similar to what we have on desktop i.e. Java swing. Its focus is almost75% on the User Interface.
* We basically write Java code and GWT framework generates JavaScript for you that run on client side like normal JavaScript.
* The generated JavaScript code is highly optimized and performs very well.
* There are other3rd party frameworks toolkits that you can use along with GWT like EXT-GWT.
* If you want to design highly interactive web application giving it desktop like look and feel. GWT is good option then.
* One thing more with GWT you are open to use any technology on server side. We can use any server side technology J2EE based (struts/struts2, jsp/servlets or whaterver) or PHP or Python or whatever you prefer.
Thanks, Abdelhamid,
In fact it is not too much taking into consideration that the comparison here is between GWT,FX, and JSF bases technologies.Any reviewer can give me his feedback about the technologies he knows only.
Thaniks again dear.
Too much frameworks! you will unlikely get a straight answer from one person, for the simple reason that one need years to try all these framework in real life projects and come up with conclusion regarding performance or other factor of comparison.
That being said, if it's about taking decision on a project's options, I suggest to narrow your list and mount your own lab by building the same webapp with the chosen frameworks, then you could run, for instance, load test with "jmeter" and monitor RAM usage with "jconsole".
