Thank you for the invitation to answer your question, by your question that you've learned and worked in the United States and this opportunity can not be obtained as if you were in the Gulf states as well as the possibility of developing knowledge there and you get a lot of advantages that can not be resulted in the Gulf. Finally it back to you, wishing you good luck and success.

Mostly it depends upon salary, and new experience that you want to come by from gulf countries. Definitely such a word like gulf is sweet but in reality some how It is different.

For middle east it is always better to look for job online, when you get a chance to work through a well established company, you mat join it. If you come straight to middle east to look for a job , you may loose a lot of time and money.

I'm a GCC native who returned to my home country after years abroad, in the US. Having lived in both countries in addition to others long enough to get the feel of the country, in my personal experience, anywhere on our planet  has its fair share of  pros and cons; some more pros than cons and vice versa . And of course with different cultures come ways you will...kind of have to get accustomed to.

Only with irrational thinking can one assume that a country as a whole don't accept citizens of a another. Yes, some do group together in an unexceptance of differences, but then others are quite welcoming. So much so, that they will cause you to wonder about all the discouraging information you have been given about a particular country or its people.

That said, I believe an opportunity to try it out in the Gulf, so long as your chosen place isn't in turmoil, would be an experience for you rather than a risk. I doubt it will ALL be bad, or all be good for that matter. However, you will never really know until you have tried yourself. I like the idea Bayt.com has provided with this question & answer system because I am sure it helps with these types of queries where you can gage if the idea sounds promising or not.

Nevertheless, opinions about relocating are based on individuals and there own experiences and thoughts on the idea. I have American friends who have lived in the Gulf and don't plan on going home anytime soon. On the other hand, I know GCC natives who look like a marathon runner waiting for the sound off  just TAKE OFF!  As I stated before, YOU will need to try it out yourself. Have a plan B, and C and you'll be just fine!

Best of luck!  Hope my answer helps.

Advice

why do ask this question ?

Is it because you want to live in middle east or gulf beside your country

Or Is It for money if it is for money ( I think ! ) , stay at US and send your CV to the country or job you want and learn Arabic good , if you get a good offer for good salary then take a vacation from your job and try the new job

Thanks for your invitation, I want to know first why you want to relocate from USA to Gulf? , I think from my view any one settled in USA, and plan his future to be there, he doesn't want to come and start again in Gulf except he has a great reason to relocate to Gulf, like very high salary, great position in multi national company or change life cultural to Arabic cultural. I think that if decided to relocate to Gulf, you can go to Qatar or UAE, these are most welcome countries to live in. Finally hope you best wishes for your future
