vibrator is not to get any gain in strength... but its an essential requirement for proper placing of concrete (Consolidation)... placing concrete without vibrator (except SCC) is just like eating food without chewing
because the voids in coarse aggregate and fine aggregate is fill and no voids left behind in the concrete
