Thanks for inviting me to answer this question.

As call center agents, we usually have shifting working hours, especially since majority of the call centers now are operational24/7. When I was a call center agent back then, managing your social life and your career life seems to be unequal. You get to work on graveyard shifts and you dont have a definite off every week as it changes from time to time, so a part of a call center agent's life is to miss some important life or family events. The only social life that you will have are those with your colleagues and fellow call center agents with afterwork parties, or teambuilding events.

Honestly, it is hard to manage your time and priorities as a call center agent, you have to sacrifice a lot of things because the call center industry has a different working environment and condition. What I can suggest is to always prioritize your family first. The next priority will be up to you. Never compromise your daughter's graduation or any important life event just for a simple day job, a one day salary is nothing compared to the memories that you will make for the people that you care for. Although you also need to value your job because that's where your income is coming from, make sure to always have the time for your outside friends and family, you may also need to sacrifice from time to time and do your job first, that's why call center agents are one of those jobs that require a lot of sacrifices and there's more to it than answering a phone call.

If your question pertains to managing your time and priorities in the workplace or in the job, I think every call center has their own workflow and protocols to follow so setting of priorities wont be a big deal.

You do one thing, then you go on to another. • People who are right-brained have the ability to see options at every turn. For you, things are rarely black and white, and your time is polychromic, with many things happening simultaneously.
