Its all depend on what you want to build, company support and active community. So if you're looking for good company support, secure and high performance; then Zend and Symfony2 are the best options.

If you're looking for great features, next generation framework, small light weight and active community; then LaravelCode Igniter and Yii frameworks are the best options.

If you want PHP5 only frameworks, I recommend Kohana and Phalconphp frameworks.
