Balance in Graphics is a one of the Principle of Design/Graphic. There is Symmetrical and Asymmetrical balance. In Symmetrical there are "Reflection Symmetry", Radial Symmetry" and "Translational Symmetry". Here are some good definitions and examples for your info:
