defective =20/400 =0.05

yield =1-0.05 =0.095

throughput yield Yt =1-DPU

                                           DPU (defects per unit) =60/400 =0.15

throughput yield Yt =1-0.15 =0.85

Y " Yield " =20/400 =0.05 -1 =0.95 , so Y =95% or Y=380 /400 =0.95 so Y =95% . Yt " Throughput yield "=1-DPU " defect per unit . DPU =60/400 = .15 , So Yt =1-.15 =0.85 which is85% if we want DPMO as you exactly said :- Opportunity of defect =6*400 =2400 . DPO " defect per opportunity " =60/2400 =0.025 . DPMO " defect per million opportunity " =0.025*1000000 =25000 which in sigma level =3.45 approx .
