What is the standard model in high energy physics?

The standard model is a theory which explanes the forces of nature exept gravitation, with a coherent formalism, and we add the term high energy physics because the theory is probed within the high energy scale in accelerators.

I'm pleased to see somebody interested to this wonderfull field, so feel free to ask more technical questions
