How to find work in Dubai?

I am currently in the States and have been told by CV specialists all over the globe that I possess the kind of experience and skill-sets which should easier garner work in Dubai or the UAE: I am finding it absolutely impossible to even receive word of interest from an potential employer. Is there another cyber scope I am unaware of?

A lot of factors work against you when you're not actually in Dubai.
High-level jobs will often require one-on-one interviews and employers may prefer to do this in person rather than over the net.
Also, there's quite of bit of talent in the city itself, and very often employer needs will be satisfied by people moving from other companies.
Having said that though, everyone working here lived abroad at some point, so of course there's still a large influx of talent.
I suggest you set yourself apart by highlighting your key selling points, create a name and buzz for yourself online and blow your potential employers away with a stunning cover letter.
I also think you should just keep trying, because it's really a numbers game.
This is a good site to apply through but there are others.
Linkedin is popular here as well.
Good luck.
