What's the difference between communication skills and negotiation skills ?

communicatoin  skils mean method to efficiently talk with each other, and negotiation mean efficiently transact financial matters.

To communicate has to do with sending across an information verbally or non- verbally. To negotiate is to arrive at a particular goal based on a discussion between parties.

negotiation is a branch of communication. In negotiation, there should be win-win, win-lose, lose-lose, lose- with situations..We should be a good negotiator when we come to  salary, purchasing,  political science as well etc...

Communication is what we do/talk/act/chat/call/ email/twit/ etc..  (it counts85% of our daily time.)

Negotiation skills is the art of convincing your counterpart of your message.

I thank u for the invitation. In customer service you need to communicate with the customer to know his real problem which is not obvios most of the time. A customer may say mygadget is a lemon but may really mean he is unable to acess the internet which may not be a computer issue and and be an issue with the router. A good communicator should be able to get to the root of the problem andresolve it

A negotiator has to be a good communicator but he should have other skills. He could be a trade union leader, salesman,politititian and should be able to convince the other party that his deal is the best.
