Too many companies believe people are interchangeable. Truly gifted people never are. They have unique talents. Such people cannot be forced into roles they are not suited for, nor should they be.

I agree, leadership is not always standing up front but often better when leading from behind the scenes and delegating work to others. That is how a true leader is measured...by creating leaders of the future.
If you allow great people to do the work they were born to do you are not effective and you are not a leader....you did nothing new... you just want the job to be done... leadership is when you are confident enough to delegate authority and know how to manage your subordinates.
I Agree, that will keep them sharp and willing to work
OF COURSE TRUE

There is always the principle or the like can not be any work to succeed if there is no application of this principle
