What is the best non-surgical remedy for hip dysplasia in dogs?

I dont think you can do much about treating dysplasia, except for the surgical therapy. The options here are really limited. Since It is a genetic condition occuring primarily in larger dogs. And there are tests that can help you identify predisponed puppies and remove them from further breeding. As for the remedy when dysplasia is already present, as far as I know, there are two things you can do. First, you can fixate a set of supporting wheels on the back extremities, and thus exclude them almost completely from everyday use. The other thing is physical therapy, such as aqua therapy, but Im not sure about cost-benefit in this case. You can always try alternatives, such as acupuncture or appling min-vit mixture consisting of Zn, Se, Ca, vit E.
