When thinking about worst part about working on microprocessors, One thing coming to my mind is the innability of a microprocessor to meet the timing critical operations. Yes, I know Real time Operationg systems are there. But they cannot give Nano Seconds pricisssions.
In such cases we have to use FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Arrays) to get pricissions of about nano seconds. Exaple high speed data capoture from a high resolution camera.
