It depends on the powerplant configuration. 

 

Plants can be configured as either Single Cycle "Gas turbine only" or Combined Cycle "Gas turbine and Steam turbine" which includes the condensing system HRSG .. 

 

Combined Cycle is the one that is operating within the Rankine cycle whereas the single cycle operates within the Brayton Cycle.
