Sales is about judgement of customer psyche . Sometime you pitch with benefits of your products or with drawbacks of others. if you know what customer likes and dislikes about you or your product then sales ll be much easier.

In my opinion if the product has been purchased by the customer it is sales and if not then its marketing.
