Using GPO can we force users to run automatically some applications as soon as he / she log on to account ?

Using GPO to force users to run a program as soon as they log on can be done by assigning the particular application to the user, so that as soon as they log on, the software is installed.

 

This scenario is quite different from when you publish the application using a GPO. in this case, the user has to go an add the software from control panel. Both can be achieved by using GPO log on Scripts

Yes, its possible through logon scripts which can initiate through gpo at logon time.

You can define logon scripts in GPO that can execute programs automatically whenever user logs on to a system.
