now a days there are many coagulation deficiencies that can not be easily identified by Simple PT, APTT assay. so more sophisticated test should also be done.
Basically the tests presented were all directed towards the investigation of platelet function. However, in this case, the patient still has bleeding tendencies despite the tests: PT, APTT , as well as platelet function assays were stated to be normal. Perhaps we can assume that the patient may have been or is suffering from quantitative platelet disorders. However, further tests are recommended in order to confirm this assumption.
