I will meet the whole team to introduce myself and get a closer look at them on the personal & technical levels, then I will meet the team members individually to make a SWOT analysis for each. I will get closer to the team to solve their problems (technically, administratively & financially). I will provide the needed resources for my team within my authority. I will communicate with my team members directly & follow up their daily tasks.

Being a team leader calls for certain set of skill that you need to acquire with people relations. First step to make your team productive is to develop their confidence in you as their leader.

I usually meet each member individually, tell them about myself and get to know their skills, their technical knowledge / strengths and what they enjoy doing. This allows me to also analyse their personality. it is lot more helpful to delegate work to team then, follow up on work and get the project delivered as per committed timelines. Constant communication and problem solving significantly play keep rule when your team and you trust each other and know can rely on each other.

I would consider each member as competent in their individual tasks first and in time evaluate their abilities with merit or if further guidance is needed upon completion of of a number of tasks.

Discuss, learn, observe and deliver. Everyone is independent yet accountable. A team rises and falls together so there is no option but to work together to achieve what is expected and if something is to be done, it should be done with the best results while having some fun on the way!

i will be a good companion for all the members. it does not mean that if 50 persons in the team means i cannot go each time with them but the moral support and understanding their problems and give the solutions according to the company limits.

Following are the steps that I would follow.

1. Analyze and understand strength and weakness of each team member

2. Providing enough support technically and personally, when needed

3. Motivating the team with small praises

4. Avoid number of meetings for small mistakes and praising them in front of the team

These are the pointers definitely score very good marks not only in terms of team but also achives the goal required.
