I believe the right kind of communication is need, in order word not just communication but effective communication.

It is true that marketing communication is one of the most important things to build the image of an organisation. But it is not the only thing. Marcom involves directing persuasive message to the target audience/stakeholders which make them trust the organisation and its product. But quality of the product should be as it has been communicated to the stakeholders. Otherwise the image of the organisation gets in to jeopardy.
So just Marcom is not enough to build the image of the organisation. The quality of the product needs to be good.
The age old adage; "actions speak louder than words" cannot be stressed enough and never more so than when an organization's image is concerned.
Given how social media has given 'voice' to millions of people and businesses, linking communication to action has never been more important. With communication swamping timelines across numerous channels, highlighting 'action' can be the determining factor between remaining an anonymous online entity or becoming a reference to what is perceived as being an online authority, and therefore a leader and opinion maker.
Throughout the process communication remains the key element between organization and audience, but communication alone cannot be relied upon to create an image that is uniquely discernible and relate-able to a critical online audience.
Yes,of course you need much more than just communication. But first impression from the communication is always very important for the next step. You have also to support your business proposals or promises by showing your professionalism, providing necessary documents about existing achievements of the company, as well as be able to convince your partner how he/she will benefit by purchasing, for example, your products or supervises or having any kind of cooperation with you. And much more. Good Luck! :)
