I think it's a must for the organization to hire people from different backgrounds and with experience away from the company's itself from time to time , in order to increase the innovation and creativity between their teams , as people from the same business culture will have the same thinking trend some how.

Yes off course that is called experience and can be used to the other organization beyond the limits of culture of the organization and nature of work.

Yes, I believe that a person's experience in an organization can be useful in another organization.
The persons's experience along with his/her interest to utilize his/her knowledge will always prove to be useful.
An Organization that is growing and changing with challenging times will always need their employees to add inputs from their knowledge/experience for the Organizations benefit.

Definitely, previous experience will be of immense help irrespective of the Organization, however a caveat attached.
If an individual in his/her previous experience had learned only the procedures, but failed to understand the concepts involved and applies the same procedures in the new organization without considering the strategy & culture, business need, the same may turn into futile.
Individuals when use their previous experience, need to understand the best practices and the feasibility of implementation and further how the same will bring difference in the business & whether the difference is helpful to the business objective or not and so on and so forth......
Secondly, as mentioned by Mr.
Amal Mandhora, the interest of the individual also matters to a great extent to have the desired benefits.

"Relevant experience" is what we must look for; not "just experience" Relevant experience will always be a great help, and ensure quick results, lesser need for coaching and grooming, easier fits.
