Dear Dana;
Actually for me, i'm just using Civil3D from Autodesk and Microsoft Excel in estimating any construction
project, as long as you know the basic formulas for computing areas and volumes you can do it accurately,
and fastly provided that you have a good knowledge in manipulating the two software.
