modules, a module for each department or accounting classification such as Purchasing, Sales, Financials, Fixed assets, Banking, HR, all is interfaces proceed a journal entry in the background for each single transaction, journal entries to be effect in GL's or account statements as on SAP, accounts statements into TB, BS, P&L or whatever the report you want to get, you have the SAP default reports, and you can customize a manual report for your own through SAP too, you just give it the basic "recognized" inputs and the criteria and you save then you can use it anytime,

benfits is many, this is the best accounting software i've worked on, first is security, it's the most secured database created for financials i think,2nd is segregation of duties, you can assign who do what when with whos authority,3rd, error probability reducing, it prevents you from posting or adding if you missed the right date for the accounting period or unbalanced journal if you do a manual journal entry, i think there is an ability for banking transaction to limit it from using a wrong currency while you do an outgoings or incoming, you can automate anything using it, Bank recons, inventory recons between actual and system or any BS account recon, you have calenders, reminders, payroll, HR, running Budgets, SAP is the best !
