Thank you my dear brother Hossam ,,, I will start my answer from the last term of your Q because of inclusiveness relationship with various terms of reference projects .Well the project director is responsible for managing a project at the strategic level. The project director is typically the project's point person, managing resources and overseeing finances to ensure that the project progresses on time and on budget. The director reviews regular progress reports and makes staffing, financial, or other adjustments to align the developing project with broader outcome goals. A project director generally oversees a team of project managers and project teams
A project director has the authority to make key decisions, adjust budgets and add resources and related project governance processes. A project director receives regular reports from the project manager and/or team leads. Also, he or she reports directly to senior management, such as a vice president (VP), and/or company president.
In addition, a project director often manages multiple projects simultaneously .Titles such as marketing manager or marketing director can be used with completely different meanings at different companies, depending on both the size of the company and how their marketing operations are structured. The difference between the two position can only be quantified when a company has a marketing department large enough to use both titles for different positions . In a company large enough to have more than one brand or product line, marketing managers are usually in charge of a single line or brand while the marketing director oversees all of the marketing managers. For example, a company might have one department in charge of selling long distance services and another department in charge of selling cell phone services. Each department would typically have its own marketing manager, and both marketing mangers would report to the same marketing director, who would be in charge of marketing strategy for the whole company. In companies large enough to distinguish between the terms, the focus of the marketing manager is on day-to-day marketing efforts, while the focus of the marketing director is on big-picture strategic marketing
