Does the ASIC designer get involved in timing analysis of design? And what are the prerequisites to static timing analysis engineer?

I hold masters in VLSI DESIGN & EMBEDDED SYSTEMS , Interestwd to get into timing analysis field. So plz suggest me what r d key skills required and which all companies works in this field and also carrier growth over longer perspective. Thanks all

In the ASIC design the timing analysis is very important because it's ralated with the our physical environment. And the statics timing analysis is a method of validating  the timing performance of the design by checkinng all the path for timing violations under the worst case conditions.

Static timing analysis is a method of validating all the timing parameters of a design by checking all the possible paths for timing violations under worst case condition. STA Engineer should check everything properly before chip should pass for the manufacturer.

Timing is one of the main factors that can determine how well a device will work. Physical boards run slower than ics and so we'd have to analyse the timing in such a way that the output data is not corrupted due to internal delays.
