Very very crucial to the development of young minds.

Since you are an English teacher, you could give children games like:

spelling bee, memory games, poem writing class, word jumble, detective games etc.

A primary school should not just have subjects, like maths, science, languages, PE, social studies, history and geography, they should also have the very rare subjects, like dance, music, health education, drama, art class, wood work to name a few. Of course how can I forget cub scouts and spelling bee as activities.

creative writing is very important for primary children. it will help them develop skills which will otherwise go un noticed . pictorial representation can boost their writing skills and also watching animated movies or stories with depictions give them ideas . asking them to write a story putting them as the main character will help them to relate more and in turn up their creativity  and imagination .

It is very must for students, creative thinking will grow up the knowledge and skill.
