Once u build a brand as an ecceptable one to the customers people value ur products and would be ready to pay a higher price provided that they deliver and support is available even after the product has gone out of warranty. Other wise angry customers in the social media can undo all your marketing strategy.

Each & every marketing activity be it either launching a new category (Or an extended SKU), creating new advertisements or trade shows (ATL), launching new promotions or Investments for Retail space (BTL). Each one has it's own objective of Why each has been decided &what we would achieve by doing it. Each activity also undergoes feasibility & purpose evaluation (Clarity) & ensuring-

  • Are we able to address our Target Market or Target Audience
  • Are we able to measure the effect based on the turnover
  • The ROI effect of the activity on short term or long term perspective
  • Would the activity be able to surprise the existing satisfied customer base as well as attract new customer's to our base & thus increase the market share

These are just to name a few but are critical elements of measurements.

And trust every component of what we do should be directly linked with the objective thus each one would be clearly defined & feasibility ensured. :-)

Yes, and of course one first needs to set the benchmark mark first, image building and product promotion go hand in hand.
