Employers and hiring managers use these types of questions in order to get an idea if you have the skills and competencies needed for the job. The rationale is that if they know how you performed in the past it will help give a sense of how you might do in the future. As a Team Player/or as a Motivator/or your creative Thinking capacity/ solving abilities.  Approach starting with the field only if you have full confidence and can express in an acceptable manner and clearly convey the message. Exaggerations may lead to an undervaluation. All the subjects start preparing very early to present it in a chronological order by preparing for all the intervening questions with care.  The beauty is its honesty.

During a job interview you might be questioned on behavioral aspects. These are mostly open ended questions and thus no answer is wrong. The important point of answering such question is how logically and positively you defend your answer. Through the logical explanation it will reflect your literal thinking, attitude towards responsibility, people management skill etc.

Another important point is employers / hiring manager would like to see what is the level of your human skill and how do you deliver during stress. Many a behavioral questions are stress pounding and aiming to get the knowledge of your stress management skills.

While answering such questions one should cite example from his own experience HONESTLY with logical explanations.

I partly agree with being honest HOWEVER if answering the question brings out some weaknesses (lack of skills) then be prepared to say how have you recognized and worked to improve those weaknesses. Also, in responding to such type of questions, choose an example that is relevant and demonstrates the strength you have in that particular skill. You don't have to focus too much on negatives unless you are asked about it for example, if interviewer asked counter question about your learning experience from that example.

Best answer by Vrindavan and Hussain.. We have to b carefull during such types of questions like... tell me something positive about ur boss.. Then second question will be tell me something negative abt ur boss? So this kind of questions put u in stress nd u hav to think if u r not mentally prepared...
