Cognos report7 consists of a set of tools to publish Cognos Impromptu reports to the web.
This way the report consumers require only a web browser to view the reports by accessing the cognos web portal.
Now Cognos Impromptu has been replaced by other Enterprise capabilities within Cognos BI.
