A role model not only does a great job, but truly enjoys their work and has a passion to excel.

The best way to inspire employees is to show genuine concern from the bottom down; research the concerns and issues of all levels and areas of the company. Acknowledge these issues with the employees and, either rectify, or give a realistic timeline or alternative to remedy the issues. As you show this genuine concern and results to help them work better, they will respect and have loyalty for the company. As you do this, energize them to have passion for their job and feel personal pride in their work. If you try to instill passion without addressing the concerns first, the employees will view management as hypocritical and out of touch with the employees. This will breed resentment and a lack of desire to perform well. You need to fix the negative before you can build the positive.
