Some kids can say really clever and intelligent things when challenged. How should a teacher react when student makes a better point than teacher?

Humbly accept. A teacher is there to teach. If he has already learnt it, so have you.
A teacher should publicly accept his or her defeat with humbleness and congratulate the student. Words of encouragement are always pleasing to hear from a teacher and a good way to motivate them.
when a student shows a better point than a teacher he or she must acknowledge and promote the knowledge that the student has prove for him to give self confidence and proceed on that aspect.
Give the student a salute for others to follow.
Just give him/her blessing and pray for their success in future.
A teacher is a motivator who represents children's emotions and actions. A very good answer given by child should be highly acknowledged so that a child will keep doing well. However, a teacher should not show a child that he or she did not know of the answer given by the child although the teacher knows at the back of his/her mind that he had never thought of that.
The praise should also be moderate so that it wont offend the other children, it should just encourage/provoke the others to think, whilst also keeping the spirit of the exceptional child up.
The teacher should acknowledge the student 's point and thank the student for his efforts . By this ,the teacher shows his humbleness and encourages his students to think more and work harder
A Teacher should be justice so he must thank the student when he is doing a good point
Hello, the teacher must learn before he knows that the source of knowledge and new information is possible in any place or time with him to keep it and teach it to the authority commandment of research and development
