Yes. I do believe that Communication is important. This could be varied depending on the business that employees are engaged. Means of conduct would depend on the Audience and level of gathering. However, we must remember that all these Training are focusing something to improve either in organizational or personal interest to making some positive remarks at the end of each session.

As communication is the base of the performance of the organisation it is necessary to deliver training about it. Training of how people communicate themselves, how to improve it and how to discover their (and mine btw) strengths and weaknesses. It is an ongoing proces where structured training and training on the job are powerfull tools. And don't forget written communication as it takes over the oral ones; misinterpretation of mails/texts/tweets are a daily cause of miscommunication!!
Ofcaurse, My company has trainings which are provided to the employees and they are providing different kinds of trainings depending on the employees' weekness points.
If the employee has a weekness in the communication or s/he requested such a training, the company will provide her/him with it. As long as the employee is seeking for a development, then it is the company's duties to help in providing such trainings. Otherwise, if the company doesn't do so that doesn't means you dont go for it by your own.
I used to take my own training course from my own money and it helps me alot. And if I found any kind of courses that makes me better on what I want, I go for it. You can find many offers on courses with reasonable prices and very useful ones.

Communication Training is a very generic term. It consist of vast area of of topics. In general terms, orientation it self explains the communication structure and methods to do it.where as some company due to its gimormous structure, do provide the specific training in communication to increase its efficency.I have 2 jobs and and 3 companies to deal with. In established firms, i have noted that they require less training as compare to small companies. but commuincation training is imparted on 2 -3 years of term.
