Yes I agree that companies should be obliged to hire some people with special needs, where the Saudi Labor Law provides in Article28 that every employer who employs twenty-five or more workers, and the nature of the work has being able to run with special needs who have been vocationally rehabilitated to operate at least4% of the total number of workers with special needs professionally qualified. We hope to see the full commitment of all employers in this regard. And confirmation from the UK to enjoy the special needs of equal rights enjoyed by others, the Kingdom signed the international protection of the rights and care for people with special needs in the United Nations General Assembly treaty in April2007 .

In many organizations people with special needs work and excel, respect them for their talents and learn from them how to overcome difficult situations.  They exhibit highest discipline at work, very responsible and have all excellent qualities above par.  As far as possible we should accommodate them for  suitable positions and consider it a social responsibility and human ethics.

I definitely agree that companies should hire people with special needs. In many cases I have seen people with special needs that are very talented and passionate about their jobs, even if he were just a greeter at a department store. A person with a speech impediment can be very good with his hands, a person who cannot walk can be a very good  at conflict resolution. I've seen blind women who can sew garments better than a lady with her sight. They truly are special in their own way that we normal people seem to take for granted.

Every single human being in this world has equal rights for the job. There is no truth in the view that people with disability generally have a poor work ethic. Many are actually more dedicated as securing the job in the first place may not have been easy and they are glad to be working. Most people with disability have the same levels of work motivation as their co-workers and others. Indeed many people in receipt of the Disability Support Pension are very motivated to find and keep a job.

No I am against being obliged.  Companies should hire the right people for the job, the ones who have the skills, abilities and qualifications to do the job and fit the company culture.  This should be the ONLY recruitment criteria to be applied to select candidates.  If the right one for the job happens to be of special needs so be it and welcome, if not then so be it too.

What I mean is companies should not judge people of special needs and refuse to hire them but also should not be obliged to hire them unless they are qualified for the job.  In other words all people should be treated equally by HR and judged only by qualifications and skills.
