PREDICT - Aim to anticipate problems before they happen.
Usually there is a pattern to how things occur, PREVENT - When problems arise, take control and face them before they grow into overwhelming problems.
PLAN - what can you do today to ensure success tomorrow or that the problem doesn't happen again? Know where you came from, where you are, and where you want to end up.
PARTICIPATE - Get involved.
Take the initiative and be a part of the solution.
Be proactive not reactive.
Engage with others, use your influence to help solve the issue.
PERFORM - After careful consideration to choose the appropriate path, make the decision to take effective action now.
To delay is not an option.
Own your decision and don't be afraid to make yourself accountable for it.

Being proactive means thinking and acting ahead.and this could be realized by working on yourself.
And I think it should be by planning for the future, having a self reflect, look for ways to automate routine and being creative, developing skills...we should be open to all subjects and events...to sum up to be proactive in solving issues we should predict, prevent, plan, participate, and perform..
