Stakeholder relationship is the drive towards sustainable customer retention and acquisition which is also a perquisite for business sustainability.  Stakeholder relationship is generated and enhanced through the presence of mutual understanding which is the out born of effective information sharing. This implies that there should be an interactive information sharing system to drive mutual understanding and responsiveness hence the provision and delivery of stakeholder value added products and services for the prevalence of win-win relations. An informative and well developed website, email marketing, feedback systems, newsletters, extranets and brochures will be helpful in ensuring an effective information sharing forum with stakeholders.

It depends on the context of your question. If you referring to a Relationship with Organization as a Buyer or Supplier. Sustainable Relationships are more personal than professional. Professionalism is the key for business continuity across multiple relationships whereas personalization should be applied across Selected Accounts especially profitable ones in first place. If personalization(relationship marketing) is less accepted in the culture of target organization, then following are the ways to develop sustainable relationship with influential stakeholders:-

 

1. Small time Celebrations Mails on every event like New Year festivals , this narrows down the vision of every buyer.. whenever a related product is required, they will recall you.

2. Be a part of every Events/Trade Shows/Conferences & show active involvement in industry issues. Highlight all issues I, which are favourable for your partner. Provided that the issue in specific, is relevant something for you as well. Don't overdo it.

3.Any new launches shall be timely intimated..
