Supplier Confirmation simply means to get the confirmation from the supplier for the account balances in our books of accounts.
Procedure to get Supplier confirmation: -
1) Take a printout of SOA from our books. Sent the same to the supplier through mail, fax etc. stating and giving some time may be one week or a fortnight for clarification unless otherwise the balance in our accounts said to be accepted as final.
2) If in the stipulated time, if the supplier raise any difference, we shoul get the account copy from their end and make it reconcile.
First it means to send offical letter to supplier either Fax or mails for the balance in your books,
And the way is BY MAKE BELOW STEPS:
1) Make sure all entries finished for the suppliers.
2) Print SOA ( Statement Of Account ) and reconciel it to see its physical status before sending balances and if you have any doubt send to them asking for balances.
3) Send letter on offical way either mails Or Fax to inform the suppliers about balances in your books and MUST mentioned if they didn't receive any feed back within10 days , thats will be confiramtion of balances we send.
