Micro manager is the worst form of manager, I think. This manager believes in 'theory X' of managment and assumes that employees dislike their work and avoid it .They will not work unless they are forced to do. On the other hand, people,s manager believes in 'theory Y' of managment which says that employees work because they want to work. Type Y manager facilitate employees when Type X manager always controls employees minute by minute. Although theory X has been defied by management researchers but peactically some people still follow this style.

These theories were presented by Douglas McGregor.
