Each teacher should be a well qualified person and comprehensively developed. A teacher should know its own discipline perfectly, should have psychological and pedagogical, health security and medical knowledge. A teacher should know how to heal with students of different ages and interests. A teacher should know different methods of teaching a particular subject. A teacher should be familiar with various situations which can happen in school and how to deal with it. And a person can gain this knowledge just in specialized education institution. So to my humble opinion, of course a teacher needs a special courses and a special univercity. So yes, it is a must.
