because tweeter, like facebook, are social media full of personal staff, since those two sites are oriented to personal life and personal promotion and usage

linked-in is business oriented, no personal photos and sharing of latter, no personal informations in groups (at least not too much), all disscussions are related to work, etc.    I see linkedin like facebook for proffesionals :)

Hi Shoaib, That is not necessary.
LinkedIn and Twitter are2 completely different platforms and most companies are available on both platforms.
With LinkedIn acting as a B2B platform, companies display their services, products and sometimes pitch to close deals.
Twitter acts as a broadcasting tool and is used to engage with fans and followers promoting those services and products.

LinkedIn, indeed, is CONSIDERED the right place for business promotion by most people compared to Twitter, but this has obvious reasons related to appearance and image and not necessarily to functionality, effectiveness or actual membership. LinkedIn, mainly and originally, by birth, design and development is a professional NETWORKING platform, hence the brand name "linked-in" and the slogan "Relationships Matter". The main aim of the website originated around GATHERING professionals in one place FIRST and their companies or employers with them SECOND, as the network evolved and with it its "monetization concept". Promotion on LinkedIn, especially paid ads, is one of multiple options LinkedIn offers, the foremost of which organic promotion through discussions, groups, company page and follow functionality, let alone RECRUITMENT. Twitter on other is quite clear about itself and "one faced"! It's compact and micro, giving YOU the freedom to dress your ads as you like, AS LONG AS using short (sales or marketing)140 character messages and links. You won't find paid ads on Twitter, it's free and up to you (which makes you wonder how do they monetize!). Twitter has TWO TIMES more members than LinkedIn, so there shouldn't be a definitive preference, but one that is based on match with marketing and sales objectives and audience.
