People can get really upset when you try to fix something they didn't even perceive to be a problem. So, why not make this new job a fresh start, and a clean break from everything you knew before?

Don’t fall into the trap of rebuilding your familiar old routines at your new company. Take the time to deeply understand the successes and problems of your current company before you look for solutions.

there's no relation between managements in different organizations.so you just have to be adjustable, adapted & flexible for any situation or any management style.and if the situation or the problem happened & you had experienced it before you have to advice in the right time.

Precisely every company has its own strengths and weaknesses. So there is no fixed formula or MANTRA which could be replicated. However past experience may be utilised in cases where the situation could be compared apple to apple

Better to avoid all errors that may lead us to the problems of the past and we are always ready to face any problem and solved at the same time and the development of alternative solutions

Well, for me it is natural not to want to create problems for anyone in your new organisation. However, if these problems/inadequacies you noticed are critical, I believe it is better to find a diplomatic way to deal with them without stepping on anyone's shoes.

well , in my opinion it is more suitable for saying "to avoid the problem" instead of " to fix problem" because your new company it may not has a same circumstances and it is a new experiment for you

I want to share my thought in Secret of SUCCESS with a small story. I believe our Attitude defines our altitude of Success.

It is a Shoe Manufacturing company. They had a Vision to expand their footsteps in African Country. Two sales executives from the company were called and they were asked to do a market survey in South Africa for expansion of their Product shoes in that region. Both went and made their initial study.

First guy reported to the management with in a day. He called his boss and said “No scope for selling our shoes. Because there nobody worn footwear itself (Chapels). Then how they use our shoes. Tribal persons only live here. So we will plan in another region, not that region”.

Other Guy made his study little more days. Finally he called his boss and said “Immediately dispatch1 Lakh pairs of shoes with varieties of sizes and designs. We are having HUGE potential here. All are Tribal pupils. They haven’t seen chapel itself. We can easily promote our products without competition. We will be the single and first player in this market”.

Those were the feedback from both executives. Here I would see four important parameters. Those were Strength, Weak, Opportunity, and Threatens.

There will be threatens in every opportunity. There will be an opportunity in each threaten. Our strength makes us to see an opportunity in threatens. Our weakness shows us threatens in an opportunity.

In that story both guy went for same purpose, same location, and same environment. But both said extremely opposite opinion. This all because the attitude which we show in each instance.

       Our Attitude Defines our Altitude.

I guess since the problems of previous/earlier company and present company are altogether different It is necessary to fix the present /existing problems and not the old /previous company's problems I agree that the ultimate  goal/objective of both the companies may be the same and that is higher productivity and ultimately profitability and ultimately growth of organization only but I guess approach for solving problem of growth may not be the same for both organization since not only  Managements of two different companies  are different  but also entire setup and product line  etc. every thing of both organizations are different one Even If  though the ult imitate goal /objective o of  both old and new companies are same   I guess it all depending upon their  culture/   approaches of  different people  approach to the problem/ultimate goal with both companies will differ
