A. Additional resources using the contingency fund

B. Escalation approval to use contingency funding

C. Team overtime to meet schedule

D. Corrective action based on causes

That can only be D: Corrective action based on causes
I would like to choose a combination of D & C however, if i have to choose only one option, I would go for D
We have not learned any major critical path and delays. Could catch-up with
D. Corrective action based on causes
I believe choice "D" Corrective action based on causes.
The correct path would be D.Corrective action based on causes
A or B or C or a combination of all may be in the corrective action plan
it's depending on the real context
Corrective action based on causes. I assume that the proect is on schedule and only the change shall cause delay. Still magnitude cant be judged.
Option D
D. Corrective action based on causes
D would be a bit better then other options.
I don't think there is a fixed answer to this question.
This highly depends upon the situations. Any two projects will choose a different option.
This is what I think.
Since project has gone so far, may be it's too late to apply corrective action. The execution phase is either completed or very close to complete.
The last10-15% of a project is just closeout.
