Whats the difference between Logistics services and Supply chain services ?

In Supply chain, there are different processes involved from raw materiel, production and distribution. Where as in Logistics, there is only process of flowing goods from point of origin to consumer.

Supply chain management it is" know how" to do as per to have the right thing at the right place at the right time; particularly it could have been as internal also the logistics services as incorporated; depend of the company object of activities;

When we speak about a drilling oil company we have a particularly designated signification of what it means about of supply chain and when we speak about the global factory in the alimentary field or in the agriculture industry as well it is different;

Logistic services can have also as integrated as properly own supply chain depending on object of activities of the company and the importance as well;

If the object of activities will be as: manufacturing,raw materials, producing, purchasing @ procurement we can speak about of supply chain in this case the logistics services will be as incorporated;

Logistics service is the management of the flow of goods between the point of origin and the point of consumption. while supply chain services include Inventory,Distribution, Supplier, Transportation & customer services.

The supply chain is obviously bigger than logistics. Logistics are only a part of the supply chain.

Logistics Services is simply helping to deliver the goods at a name place

Supply chain involve every thing from procurement of Raw material to manufacturing units and delivering finish goods to end consumers just at the required time not later and not before the required time.

Logistics = paper works or documents with proofs created by different peoples keeping security of cargo

supply chain = people + team work
