How to handle the gap between you and your mentor if you are over weighting him in updated knowledge, higher education and job grade code?

<p>This is an extreme challenging situation, as these mentors will feel overwhelmed by the fact that you are higher than them in the grade code and some would envy you negatively. While you would feel that the mentor is not adding any value to you as you are exceeding him in many aspects.  </p>

Find a new mentor.  You want the best for yourself. Keep in contact with your professors who are still teaching. Visit your university regularly, professors and teachers love to debate and discuss things with graduated students. You don't know how important that makes them feel. I tell you this because I still keep in touch with my professors and ask for advice or help if I am in a situation that needs attention.
