There are multiple artifacts designed by a BA, for initial requirements, is it worthwhile to be part of SRS or business analyst can design a separate functional specifications document?
Business analyst will be responsible for functional specs doc for initial requirements, but it is always advisable to include both BA & SRS for any changes thereafter
